Booking
To secure your booking and specified date, we require the full amount in advance for an Alice hamper. To book an Anna or Polly Experience we require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total amount, plus $200 damages deposit. The same deposit is required for tableware-only hire. Once we have received your payment your booking is confirmed and no other events will be considered for that date.
Payments
We accept EFT payments and full payment is required one week (7 days) before the event.
Refunds and cancellations
In the event of you needing to cancel, the final date to do this is one week (7 days) before your booked date. (Note: the event day does not count. For a Saturday event, 7 days prior is Saturday.)
We will work with you to reschedule to an alternative date if the event date needs to change after this point.
In the event of Tea Belles cancelling in 7 days or fewer, 100% of what you have paid us will be refunded to you, or we will work with you to reschedule to an alternative date.
Changes in numbers
We understand that sometimes guest numbers can change. Please let us know as soon as possible, however for all catered experiences if your guests cancel 7 days or less before the event, the full amount will be charged, even if they are not attending. (Note: the event day does not count. For a Saturday event, 7 days prior is Saturday.)
If your guest numbers fall below the minimum (8 pax for Anna and Polly Experiences), you will be asked to pay the minimum price for your chosen experience. Alice Hampers are available as a minimum of 6 pax.
Please contact us to discuss rescheduling if your guest number changes are significant. We will happily work with you to find a viable solution.
Good Fairy services
Optional setup & styling: This includes from 60 minutes for up to 12 pax. For larger groups please contact us for a quote.
Optional breakdown, collection and washing. This includes from 90 minutes for up to 12 pax. For larger groups please contact us for a quote.
Flowers
Professionally arranged fresh flowers are an optional extra for the Anna Experience and will be arranged in vintage silver teapots. Indicate your colour preference on the booking form. Flowers are yours to keep, teapots are hired and must be returned.
Food Safety
All our food has been lovingly prepared using the freshest ingredients. Tea Belles have taken all reasonable steps to ensure our food and food preparation meets all current and Covid-safe health requirements and quality standards. We hold NSW Food Safety Supervisor certification.
Food Allergies
It is your responsibility and the responsibility of your guests to disclose any food allergies. We use allergens such as nuts and dairy. If you or your guests suffer from any food allergies, they should not consume the food that we provide.
Breakages, Loss or Damages
A security damages bond of $200 is required for Anna and Polly experiences at the time of full payment of the event. This will be refunded once all equipment has been returned in full, and in the same condition it was hired to you. If the replacement amount exceeds the security damages bond, you will be liable for the additional charges.
Breakages, loss or damages are charged at full replacement value (including postage if necessary). Some of our equipment is vintage, or discontinued, and exact replacements may not be possible. In this case a like-for-like replacement at current market value is charged. Vintage silverware, gold-rimmed and/or bone china items are valuable. Do familiarise yourself with some of our branded items’ costs: eg Miranda Kerr for Royal Albert, Tea 2 Australia. As a general guide only, our replacement costs per single item:
2-Tier cake stand: $200
3-Tier cake stand: $280
Cake/Serving plate: Vintage $60
Cup or saucer as a set: Regular $50; Vintage $80
Side plate: $25
Sandwich platter: from $35
Teapot: Regular $190; Vintage from $250
Milk jug creamers $40
Sugar bowl, jam or cream crystal, tea strainer: $25
Vintage silver-plate knife or fork damage is charged as a pair $30; Teaspoon, jam or cream spoon $15; Servers $25.
Linen – any linen returned damaged or permanently stained will be charged at replacement cost.

Cleaning of crockery and silverware
Leftover tea and food can cause permanent stains. We ask that you help us maintain our beautiful items by gently hand washing with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. No tea or food residue should remain.
Please do not use even soft-touch scourers, or harsh chemicals. Only use soft cloths for washing and drying. Once an item is scratched, chipped, or stripped of its gold or silver plate, we are unable to use that item and it will be deemed damaged.
Strictly no dishwasher for any of our tableware or cutlery as it will permanently damage the delicate and vintage items.
Our Good Fairy Services alleviate the chore of washing up and packing.
Packing of crockery and silverware
We recommend you take a few pics before unpacking the boxes of tableware so that you have an idea of how to re-pack. Please use the provided kitchen towels appropriately between items to prevent any chipping or scratching.
All silverware is to be repacked into one container.
Our Good Fairy Services alleviate the chore of washing up and packing.
Collection / Return of tea ware
We will confirm a mutually suitable collection or return time of our items at the final booking stage, usually 3 hours after your party start time. We recommend you allow minimum of an hour to dismantle, wash, dry and pack away our tableware.
Delivery, Collection and Parking Fees
Delivery, collection and toll charges are included in the price of the Anna and Polly Experience in a 10km radius from Cremorne 2090. For delivery outside of this area please contact us for a quote.
Alice Hampers are available for pick-up. Delivery may be available for an additional cost.
Tea ware-only hire is self-collect and return. You will need to return items to us at a mutually convenient time.
Parking is required for delivery and collection. If you can’t provide free parking, all parking costs will be charged.
Acceptance of our Terms and Conditions
Tea Belles have taken every reasonable step to inform you of our terms and conditions. Terms and conditions may change without notice. Payment of the deposit confirms your acceptance of our terms and conditions.
